Workforce Apprenticeship Program

Looking to enter or re-enter the workforce with new skills? Our program is designed to provide you with the additional training you need. Throughout the program, you'll receive frequent check-ins and one-on-one coaching while collaborating closely with HETRA staff to identify your goals. Upon completion, HETRA will provide you with a certificate and a detailed description of the skills you've gained, helping you take the next step in your career. The program is open to individuals 16 years of age or older that are capable of following strict safety precautions and are able to be self-directed while working on provided tasks.

We are happy to provide on the job apprenticeship in areas related to:

This is a non-paying apprenticeship and is offered free of charge, but requires the following level of commitment:

• Must complete a detailed application and be accepted into the program.
• Must attend a scheduled tour of our facility in Gretna, NE
• Be able to provide a consistent, on-site schedule (no virtual component)
• Must select from our pre-determined hourly commitment levels.

We offer a variety of commitment levels that provide great experience in our industry.
